Obituary of John Paul White
John P. �Johnny� White, of St. Louis, Missouri, formerly of Camdenton, Missouri, passed away Friday, October 1, 2010, in St. Louis, Missouri, as a result of an automobile accident.
He was born September 1, 1962, at St. John�s Hospital in Springfield, Missouri, a son to John P. and Mary C. (Waterman) White.
John, or Johnny, as he was mostly known to his family and his friends, was also known as J.P. to his friends and business associates in St. Louis.
He was brought up in Camdenton where he enjoyed the Lake and Lake activities; swimming, boating, water skiing. He graduated from Camdenton High School in 1980, and received a BA from Missouri State University in Springfield in 1984. He also attended Kensington University in London, England where he studied International Banking and with his friend Bill traveled extensively around Europe during his stay there. He was baptized in a little country church in Eldridge, Missouri, and attended a non-denominational church in St. Louis.
He began working for the Venture organization while still in college in the customer service department, and upon graduation was offered a position as customer service supervisor in a new store in Joplin. He was there until he was transferred to St. Louis in 1995, where he attended Real Estate school and became a broker and agent and began work at McAvoy Realty in 2000 and worked there as agent and office manager until his death.
He is survived by his mother and step-father, Wesley and Mary C.White-Beyer of Camdenton; his sister Sherye Woodley of Los Angeles, California, a niece, Brenda Berberich of Ava, Missouri, a nephew, Chris Eddy, of Kansas City, Missouri. Also surviving are his step-brothers and their families, Mark Beyer, Franklin, Tennessee, Dale Beyer, Edwards, Missouri, Christopher Beyer, Joplin, Missouri, and step-sisters and their families; Cheryl Dockray, Alamogordo, New Mexico, Natalie Kauffman, Garden City, Missouri, and Linda Warford, of Pattonsburg, Missouri, as well as many other relatives and friends. Also surviving is his buddy, Baxter the beagle, who now lives with his mother and step-father.
John was a wonderful son, brother, and friend, who has gone from us much too soon, and we will all miss him very much.
He was preceded in death by his father and his grandparents.
