Obituary of Gail L. Doty

Gail L. Doty, age 73, of Osage Beach, Missouri, departed this life on Monday, October 18, 2010, at Eldon Nursing and Rehabilitation, Eldon, Missouri. Gail was born August 16, 1937, in Granite City, Illinois, the daughter of Kirby and Red Favier. She was united in marriage to Larry Doty on May 16, 1965. Gail graduated from Granite City High School, Granite City, Illinois. She worked for Granite City Steel Mills for several years and later owned and operated Gail�s Market in Granite City. In her spare time, she enjoyed driving and traveling on her many trips. Through retirement years, she remained a loving and devoted wife to her husband, Larry. Gail was a member of Riverview Baptist Church in Osage Beach. Doty is survived by three sons, Gary Doty of Madison, Alabama, Terry Doty of Cocoa, Florida and Darren Doty and wife, Shaun, of Pocahontas, Illinois; one daughter, Terri Lynn Weber and husband, Matt, of Round Lake, Illinois; nine grandchildren, Erica Weber, Nicole Weber, Josh Weber, Corey Weber, Brittany Weber, Clifford Doty, Jeremy Doty, Sarah Doty and Lesley Doty; two great grandchild, along with several other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and two brothers.
