Obituary of Peter Paul Gore

Peter Paul Whitcomb Gore, age 76, of Eldon Missouri, departed this life on Thursday, October 21, 2010, in Eldon.. He was born October 7, 1934, in Kansas City, Missouri, the son of Jud and Florence (McCabe) Gore Pete is survived by four children; Paul Gore of Eldon, Missouri, Sandra Falter of Westphalia, Missouri, Karen Jo White of Linn Creek, Missouri and Frances K. Carolyn and her husband Larry Moore of Osage Beach, Missouri. Pete lived almost all of his life in the lake area. His parents, Jud and Florence Gore, built Gore�s Boat Yard (Arrowhead Yacht Club) where Pete was a mechanic and craftsman of wooden boats. Using his trade he worked for many years at Links Landing and refurbished several boats in his lifetime. He was an Eagle Scout, and served as alderman for Osage Beach City Council for eighteen years. He was a member of the Elk�s Lodge for thirty eight years and was honored to be Exalted Ruler at one time.
