Obituary of Norma Jean Schaefer

Norma Jean Schaefer, age 84, of Brumley, Missouri, departed this life on Saturday November 27, 2010, in Kansas City, Missouri. She was born August 5, 1926, in Brumley, Missouri, the daughter of Allie-Cephas and Alma Edith (Keeth) Plemmons. Norma Jean was united in marriage to David T. Schaefer on March 14, 1949. He preceded her in death on August 25, 2009. Norma Jean had worked for many years as a beautician. She was an active member of Concord Christian Church in Crocker, Missouri, where she had played the organ. She is survived by two sons; Paul Schaefer and his wife, Carol, of Kansas City, Missouri, and Michael Schaefer and his wife, Vicki, of Kearney, Missouri; brothers, Jerry Plemmons of Lebanon, Missouri, Terry Plemmons and his wife, Darlene, of Kearney, Missouri, Noel Todd Plemmons of Kansas City, Missouri, and Wayne Plemmons of Oregon; sisters, Doris Gaub and her husband, Don, of Crocker, Missouri, and Freda Patterson and her husband, Wendell, of Lebanon, Missouri; grandchildren, Angela Trembly and her husband, Matt, Robin Job and her husband, Jeremy, Michael Schaefer and his wife, Summer, Caleb Schaefer and his wife, Bri, Isaac Schaefer and his wife, Sarah, and Simber Schaefer; step-grandchild, Jeff Mesa, seven great-grandchildren; along with several other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, four brothers, and one sister.
