Obituary of C.R. McDaniel

A golden heart stopped beating on Monday, January 10, 2011, when Bud McDaniel peacefully passed away at his home at the age of 59. He was born September 12, 1951, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, the son of Russell and June (Myers) McDaniel, and graduated from Camdenton High School in 1969. Bud was united in marriage on November 16, 1999, in Eureka Springs, Arkansas, to Patricia Hensley. Bud worked for Purcell Tire in Osage Beach, Missouri as a service manager. He enjoyed classic cars, hunting, boating, dancing and traveling. His greatest love though, was being with his family and visiting with his friends. Bud is survived by his wife Patricia, of the home; one daughter, Jennifer Carney and her husband Mika of Kyle, Texas; one son, Wesley McDaniel of Houston, Texas; four step-sons, Troy Currier, Scott Currier and his wife Shara, David Hendrix and his wife Kathy and Scott Hendrix and his wife Carri, a brother, Doug McDaniel and his wife, Kim, of Camdenton, Missouri; one sister, Karan Faris of Waco Texas, and eleven grandchildren, along with several other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Russell and June McDaniel, and one son, Brad McDaniel.
