Obituary of Noel Andrew Scanlan

Noel Andrew Scanlan, 58, born August 26, 1952, peacefully passed on February 5, 2011, after a courageous battle against cancer. Born in Roscrea, Ireland, raised in Kansas City, Missouri, and longtime resident of Osage Beach, Missouri, Noel was a kind and strong man, loved and respected by many around the globe. He was preceded in death by his parents, Emmett Andrew Scanlan Jr and Helena Barry O�Neill Scanlan of Kansas City, Missouri and a daughter Bridget Marie Scanlan of Gladstone, Missouri. His legacy lives on in his survivors; Claire Stamper, his longtime girlfriend, Gene �Trout� Scanlan, his brother and his wife Vicki, Sean Scanlan, his son and his wife Sara and their five children, Patrick Scanlan, his son and his wife Angela and their five children, Eric Scanlan, his son and his wife Cindy and their two children, Sarah Scanlan, his daughter, Ryan Scanlan, his son, Kelly Toth, his niece and her husband Drew and their son, and an endless list of cousines and close friends. Noel�s passing came at a very young age, but his name, his mark on the world, and his legacy will live on for countless centuries to come. Closed Services will be held for the family, services for friends and family will be announced at a later time. He is loved and will truly and forever by missed.
