Obituary of H. Orlin Moran
H. Orlin Moran, 76, formerly of Osceola, died February 10, 2011 at his home in Camdenton, Missouri.
Orlin, son of Marie (Ashby) and Harold Moran, was born November 29, 1934 in Osceola. He graduated from Osceola High School in 1952.
He served in the Army from 1957 to 1963. He worked for many years with his parents at Moran Implement in Osceola as well as other jobs.
On June 7, 1968 he married Sally Beer in Osceola. They owned and operated the Northside Tavern, Moran Backhoe, Moran Ice and the Hard Water Inn in Osceola. They moved to Camdenton in 2004.
He was a fifty year member of Masonic Lodge Osceola #77, Moose Lodge #2322 of Camdenton, past member of the Ga-Zig Shrine of Des Moines, Iowa, and Eagles Lodge of Osceola, Lodge #3495.
He is survived by his wife Sally, of Camdenton, one brother, two nephews, and two nieces.
He was preceded in death by his parents, parents-in-law, Jack and Irene Redman and one infant brother, as well as several aunts and uncles.
