Obituary of Gladys E. Johnson

Gladys E. Johnson, daughter of Floyd W. and Edna (Peterson) Killian was born October 28, 1912 in Wanette, Oklahoma. She departed this life on Tuesday, February 15, 2011 at Lakeside Meadows, Osage Beach, Missouri. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Otto Johnson; her son, Wilford Johnson and daughter, Esther Brooks; two sisters and one brother; and her son-in-law, Tony Vierra. Gladys attended Osage Beach First Assembly of God, in Osage Beach. She truly loved her church. In her spare time, she enjoyed sewing and cooking. Gladys was a loving mother and grandmother. She is survived by daughters, Mary Lou Vierra of Sunrise Beach, Missouri and Frances Thomas and husband, Al, of Columbia, California; nine grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.
