Obituary of Leathel Bradley

Leathel K. �Brad� Bradley, age 86, of Camdenton, Missouri, passed away Wednesday, February 16, 2011 at his residence in Camdenton. Leathel was born April 21, 1924 in Center Ridge, Arkansas, the son of Samuel and Gertrude (Baker) Bradley. He was united in marriage on September 3, 2001, to Norma Russell. Leathel was a World War II Veteran in the US Army and served as a Military Policeman from January 15, 1943 to January 25, 1946. He served in the European Theater in Germany and Austria and the Pacific Theater in the Philippines. He was a life member of VFW Post 5923 in Camdenton, Missouri where he served as Post Commander three times and also served as District Commander twice. He was also a life member of Zack Wheat American Legion Post 624 of Sunrise Beach, Missouri, a fifty year member of Ivanhoe Lodge #446 in Kansas City, Missouri, a fifty year member of the Scottish Rite of Freemasonry in Kansas City, Missouri, and a long time member of the Ararat Shrine of Kansas City, Missouri. He was retired from the US Postal Service. Leathel is survived by his wife Norma, of the home; one daughter, Linda Singleton and husband, Bob, of Malden, Missouri; two grandchildren, Brad Moylan and his wife, Kathy, of Valley Glen, California and Amy Walker of Malden, Missouri; one great-granddaughter, Randi Walker of Malden Missouri, as well as several other relatives and friends.
