Obituary of Mildred L. Eidson

Mildred L. Eidson, age 80, of Camdenton, Missouri, departed this life on Monday, March 14, 2011 at Lake Regional Health System in Osage Beach, Missouri. Mildred was born September 28, 1930 in Camden County, Missouri, the daughter of Henry and Jane (Caviness) Cumper. Mildred was united in marriage on April 22, 1950 in Camdenton, to Jim Eidson and together they had shared the past 60 years until her passing. Mildred was a life-long resident of Camden County. She was a loving mother and a devoted homemaker and helpmate to her husband. She loved her family dearly and enjoyed spending time with them. In her spare time, she enjoyed painting. Mildred was a member of First Baptist Church, Camdenton. Mildred is survived by her loving husband, Jim of the home; her son, Randy Eidson and wife, Terri, of Camdenton; two daughters, Cindi Bramlage and husband, Randy of Topeka, Kansas and Melanie Powers and husband, Tom, of Camdenton; her brothers, Jimmy Dale Cumper of Kansas City, Missouri and Bill Cumper and wife, Jane, of San Diego, California; her sister, Margaret Wilson and husband, Kenny, of Brazito, Missouri;Mildred was affectionately known as "Honey" by her seven grandchildren, Shaun McDonnell, Michael McDonnell, Kristen Kendrick, Daniel Eidson, Louis Powers, Wiley Powers and Nora Powers; two great-grandchildren, Keilan Howard and Isaiah Kendrick as well as several other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Willard Cumper and Junior Cumper, and four sisters, Odessa Burns, Mary Miller, Della Rogers and Colleen Shippy.
