Obituary of Nancy Louise Sappington

Nancy Louise Sappington, age 71, of Montreal, Missouri passed away Tuesday, January 18, 2022 at her home in Montreal.

Nancy was born October 16, 1950 in North Little Rock, Arkansas, the daughter of William and Louise
(Shutters) Spearman.

On November 18, 1994, Nancy was united in marriage to Donald Sappington in Osage Beach, Missouri. They shared 27 years together at the time of her passing.

Nancy’s lifelong job was being a nurse and she worked as such for over 30 years. She had worked her way up to Director of Nursing before she retired. She was passionate in taking care of the people she served. Nancy also valued her time with her family and taking care of them as well. Her greatest passion was her family. In her spare time, she loved golfing and gardening. She also served in the Elk’s Lodge at Osage Beach, Missouri and was an officer there for 9 years.

Nancy is survived her husband Donald Sappington of the home; her children Jason Ling of Kaiser, Missouri, Eric Sappington of Jefferson City, Missouri, and Barbra Bently (Kyle) of Crane, Missouri; her grandchildren Skyler, Annie, Cameron, Jack, Lucas, Madison, and Sophia; sister Jackie Phillips of Beaumont, Texas; as well as many other relatives and friends.

Nancy was preceded in death by her parents William and Louise Spearman.

Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, February 5, 2022 at Hedges-Scott Funeral Home in Camdenton, Missouri.
