Obituary of Ronald Gordon Besaw

Ronald Gordon Besaw (Chico) was born February 1, 1952 in Cortland, New York to William Lewis and Hannah Cecelia (Trumpour) Besaw. He departed this life October 28, 2023 in Osage Beach, Missouri.

He was preceded in death by his parents William and Hannah Besaw and his brother Raymond Besaw.

Ronald is survived by his daughters Rachel Buske and her husband Robert Buske, and Ranita Burris and her husband Shannon Burris; his companion Wanda Campbell and her granddaughter Deriree Wall; his grandchildren Austin and Mackenzie Buske, Noah and Alexis Simmonds, Saige Simmonds and Michael Appleberry; his sisters Rita Davenport and her husband Phil Davenport, and Renee Kingston and her husband Mike Kingston. He is also survived by, longtime friend Maggie Davis and many other relatives and friends.

Chico as he was known by his friends didn’t know a stranger and was quite the jokester. He worked at various jobs and later owned and operated his own tree service. He loved to be outside surrounded by nature and climbing in the trees. His  onery smile and charming wit will be missed by many.

There are no formal services scheduled at this time for Chico.

Funeral arrangements have been placed under the care of Hedges-Scott-Millard funeral homes in Osage Beach, Missouri.
